Most musicians do not have a knowledge problem. They have a follow-through problem, and doing it by yourself is the hardest way. The single, the video, the emails, the posts, the pitch to the blog, it all sits on a list that never moves because no one is in it with you.
Soundcheck fixes that. Not more tips. A standing night, a small group that has your back and knows what you are working on, and people who genuinely want to see you get it out. You stop doing it alone.

Set it, report it, get coached, commit again.
Every week, same time, the same five people show up on a Google Meet and run the same simple loop. It takes about an hour.
01 / SET
You name one promo goal for the week. Specific and finishable, not "work on my music."
02 / REPORT
You report what you actually did last week. The group hears it, celebrates the wins, and helps with whatever stuck.
03 / COACH
Davy coaches the sticking point, what to prioritize, what to cut, how to actually get it out the door.
04 / COMMIT
You commit to next week's move out loud, and the circle has your back until it is done. Then you do it again.
The room
Only five. On purpose.
Accountability does not work in a crowd. Five is small enough that everyone reports every week, the group remembers what you promised, and nobody hides in the back. Your circle stays the same people, so the trust and the support both compound.
As circles fill, The Davy Agency opens new ones. You keep your circle and your people, and once a month every circle comes together at The Green Room. Small enough to know each other, big enough to feel part of something growing.

Where the whole scene shows up.
Once a month, on third Thursdays, the circles come off the screen and the wider Portland music community comes together at The Green Room, an open networking night at the Davy Agency, 232 SE Oak St Unit 307. Meet other artists, trade contacts, and get in the room with the people building alongside you. Free to attend, donations appreciated. When there is an industry guest in town, they join to talk and take questions.

Who is this for?
Any musician who is serious about getting their work in front of people and wants people in it with them. Any genre, any stage, solo artists and bands. It is built for follow-through, not for beginners or pros specifically.
What does it cost?
The first month is free, four weekly circles plus your first Green Room mixer. After that, continuing as a member is $100 / month, and you can cancel anytime.
How much time is it?
About one hour a week on a Google Meet, at the same time each week, plus The Green Room, the monthly third-Thursday mixer at the shop.
Is it online or in person?
Both. The weekly circle is on Google Meet so you can join from anywhere. The Green Room mixer is in person at the Davy Agency, 232 SE Oak St Unit 307, on third Thursdays.
Do I have to be a member to come to The Green Room?
No. The Green Room is open to the whole Portland music community, free to attend, donations appreciated. Members get it as part of their membership.
Do I need a big following already?
No. Soundcheck is about doing the work consistently with people around you, not about how many followers you start with. That is usually the point.
What if the circle is full?
You join the waitlist and get first call when a seat opens or the next circle starts. Circles are capped at five so everyone gets real support.
